In commemoration of their 20th reunion, alumni of the 2004 class of ITB’s Informatics Engineering have shown their support for their alma mater by donating an endowment fund of IDR200 million. This donation was symbolically handed over by the class chair, Fajrin Rasyid, to the Secretary of BPUDL, Ahmad Faizal, at the Labtek V Benny Subiyanto Building, Ganesha Campus (08/24/2024).
This donation is part of the ‘Platinum’ tile naming program, where the name “Teknik Informatika 2004” is embedded on granite in the rotunda area of ITB Ganesha campus. This program is one of the creative initiatives aimed at increasing ITB’s endowment funds, thus providing added value to support the tree main mission activities of the university.
Faizal expressed his gratitude by saying, “Thank you to the alumni of the Informatics Engineering class of 2004 who have contributed to ITB through the endowment fund. The donation for this tile naming program not only comes from the community itself, but also from individuals of this class, such as Achmad Zaky and Fajrin with his wife”. He added with a light-hearted remark that brought laughter from the alumni “May everyone in this room continue to succeed, and we look forward to seeing more names on other tiles, whether it’s one name or two names with your spouse—husband on the front steps, wife on another”.
Thank you, Informatics Engineering class of 2004, for being an inspiring part of supporting the three missions of ITB through the endowment fund. This donation will provide sustainable benefits for ITB.
Investing for ITB’s dreams!
